How do I find a specific product?

Finding a product by using the Parts Diagrams:
Start by selecting your vehicle model from the home page menu located in the middle of the page (click here). Then use one of the "Part" drop down menu's to select the diagram to view the required parts. By rolling over the required part/s, a label will come up naming the part. Once this is visible ,by left clicking the part, it will add it to the cart for you to view the price and/or purchase the item/s.

Finding a product by using the Search facility:
You can start your search by using the "Search the Catalogue" input box which is located at the bottom left of every page. Type in the title of the product you are looking for into input box and then click on the "Search" button or press 'ENTER' on your keyboard to submit your query. The search results will be listed in order by closest match.

TIP: Make sure you check the spelling and punctuation of your search. Also try limiting your search to smaller words or phrases. e.g. if you tried 'Gearbox Bearing' then just try 'Bearing'.

How do I use the shopping cart?

Your Cart Items Summary:
The "Cart Items" summary screen displays all items that you have added during your online ordering session. Each individual item is clearly displayed with its associated delivery weight and GST amount.

I'd like to know more about 4x4world.com.au's delivery charges.

Removing Items:
You can remove items from "Cart" simply by clicking the "Remove" button for that item.

Increasing Quantities:
If you would like to order more than one of an item which is currently in your electronic shopping cart, simply place the new amount in the quantity input box and then click the "Recalculate Cart" Link. Your Shopping Cart will automatically refresh and your order total will be adjusted accordingly.

Proceeding to the Checkout:

  • New Customers:
    If you have finished shopping and are happy with the items and quantities in your shopping cart you can proceed to the checkout by clicking on the "Purchase Now" link. You will be prompted to login. Here you will need to select either "Signup" if you are an individual, or "Company Signup" if you are a business to create a account before actually entering the checkout.
     
  • Existing Customers:
    If you have finished shopping and are happy with the items and quantities in your shopping cart you can proceed to the checkout simply by clicking on the "Purchase Now" link. You will be prompted to login. Enter your username and password into the input box provided and then click the "Login" button to proceed to the checkout.
How do I use the online checkout?

Once inside the checkout, completing your order is as easy as following these simple steps:

PART ONE - Confirm your delivery address details and payment details.

  • Step 1 - Confirm your billing information and delivery address:
    If the delivery address is incorrect or you wish to change it for this particular order, you can change the delivery address by entering the new details.
    Please note that this will only change the delivery address for the current order.
     
  • Step 2 - Printout your invoice and select your payment type:
    A summary of the items ordered is now displayed for you to look over and confirm. You should print this out for your records.
    You will also receive an invoice with your order.
Payment Types
For more information on each Payment Type, click on the different payment logos in the checkout.
  • Credit Card:
    Follow these simple instructions to pay online using your credit card and our secure ANZ Payment Processing:
    1. Select your credit card type from the options provided: VISA, MASTERCARD, BANKCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS & DINERS CLUB.
    2. Enter your credit card number into the input box provided.
    3. Enter your credit cards expiry month and year into the input box provided.
    4. Enter the name as it appears on the credit card into the input box provided.
    5. Once you have entered the requested details, click the "Pay online with Credit Card" button to continue
  • Payit @ Post:
    Select one of the three offline payment methods from the drop down box provided:
    1. I will fax my Credit Card details
    2. I will post a Money Order
    3. I will post a Cheque
    4. Once you have selected your chosen method, click the "Pay Offline" button to continue.
  • Fax Your Credit Card Details:
    Follow these simple instructions request that a customer service representative call me and complete my Credit Card payment over the phone.
    1. Print out the fo.
    2. Enter your phone number into the input box provided.
    3. Enter the best time for us to call you into the input box provided.
    4. Once you have entered the requested details, click the "Call Me Please Payment" button to continue


PART TWO - Verify your order details and place your order.
Please ensure that you verify your delivery address, your payment details and the items before continuing. Once you are happy that all the details are correct, then click the appropriate "Payment Type " button to submit your order to 4x4world.com.au.

PART THREE - Order placement confirmation.
Once your order has been submitted to 4x4world.com.au, a confirmation page will be displayed advising that your order has successfully been received.
